Blueprint Sports Co wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born on the field, in the office, and in the late nights of three founders who each built something real — and refused to let the non-profit structure keep them from owning what they created.
Our Story
Every Blueprint partner started in the same place you are right now. Running a club. Serving a community. Building something that mattered — with no clear path to ever owning it.
The non-profit model was never designed to reward the people who build sports organizations. It was designed for a different era, a different scale. Today's club founders are running multi-million dollar operations with enterprise-level complexity — and receiving none of the equity that complexity creates.
Blueprint exists because Rob, Jake, and Joey each lived that reality. They each found a way out. And now they've built a platform to bring that same path to every club founder who's ready for it.

The Platform
Blueprint Sports Co is structured as a holding company with sport-specific brands underneath. Each sport vertical operates with its own identity and leadership, while sharing the infrastructure, capital, and operational resources of the parent platform.
Blueprint is launching with soccer as its first vertical, with the platform designed to expand into additional sports over time. This structure allows Blueprint to grow into new sports, new markets, and new geographies without losing the local identity that makes each club valuable. Every new partner immediately benefits from the scale of the entire platform.

Cobalt Soccer
Rob built Cobalt Soccer from the ground up into a thriving club. He navigated the non-profit trap, unlocked his equity, and completed his own Equity Unlock. He understands the daily grind — the early mornings, the facility negotiations, the parent emails, and the constant balancing act between community mission and financial survival. Rob now leads Blueprint's soccer vertical, helping club founders across the country do the same thing he did: turn decades of work into real, tangible equity.
Jake Deane
Co-Founder, Blueprint Sports Co | Lacrosse
True Lacrosse
Jake Deane is a proven operator, entrepreneur, and platform builder in the youth sports industry. As co-founder of True Lacrosse, Jake built the business from a two-bedroom apartment in Chicago into one of the largest youth sports platforms in the country. Before building True Lacrosse, Jake was a Division I All-American and team captain at the University of Massachusetts, and went on to play professionally — winning a Major League Lacrosse championship. Today, Jake co-leads Blueprint Sports Co with a singular vision: to professionalize the youth sports industry, create real career paths for coaches and directors, and build a platform that combines local authenticity with national scale.

Joey LaRocque
Co-Founder, Blueprint Sports Co | Flag Football
Gridiron Football
Joey LaRocque brings a rare combination to Blueprint Sports Co: the physical credentials of a former NFL linebacker, the business instincts of a serial entrepreneur, and the operational experience of someone who has personally executed a nationwide youth sports roll-up from scratch. A former Division I college football player at Oregon State and NFL linebacker, Joey completed the MBA Program for NFL Alumni at the Indiana University Kellogg School of Business before founding a series of youth sports ventures. He founded ROCKSOLID, building the first and only soft-shell equipment designed exclusively for football — earning a 4-STAR rating from the Virginia Tech Helmet Lab and securing nationwide placement. He then created Flex Football, a proprietary 9v9 gameplay format bridging flag and tackle football. As Founder and CEO of Gridiron Football, Joey built a successful nationwide operation. At Blueprint, Joey leads the flag football vertical and brings his roll-up expertise directly to bear on Blueprint's acquisition and expansion strategy.
